Sustainability in the Media

To be honest, I thought that all the buzz surround sustainability, global warming and the like would have died out by now in media, but for once I'm quite happy I'm wrong. It seems that any where I look now, especially in the professional journals floating around our office sustainability, global warm and the environment are becoming reoccurring themes. The September issue of Scientific American was dedicated to global warming, and sustainability, with articles focusing on a multitude of issues.

All I can say is I hope the attention holds, if not in the mainstream media, but in the scientific and industry journals to keep people thinking about it. It is beyond time to force the issue. An ad from the Environmental Defense recently aired on network TV which hit the point home with some dramatic affect.
